The second Black Feminist Health Collaboratory, a two-day interdisciplinary collective laboratory (collaboratory), invites scholars, creatives, practitioners, providers, and activists to think critically and conjointly about what it means to heal within the Black feminist tradition.
This year’s theme “Black Feminist Healing Arts” offers an opening for makers, thinkers, and healers of all types to theorize the body, psyche, and spirit with toolkits generated in the spaces between disciplines of medical anthropology and sociology, community/public health, media studies, Black studies, art making and theory, performance/studies, literature, and others
